We need our buses!
First Bus planned to withdraw evening and weekend buses on the 118 service, leaving passengers from Duntocher, Hardgate and Faifley with only five buses in the morning and four in the evening peak. After a face to face meeting, First Bus agreed to put on extra journeys and evening and Sunday services have also been restored, benefiting people in Baljaffray and Bearsden. This is a significant improvement from the original proposals and will particularly help people visiting or working at Gartnavel.
