Parents of pupils at St Andrew's are aggrieved that the promise of free travel to the new St Peter the Apostle's was broken by West Dunbartonshire Council. There are also concerns about travel plans sent out by the Council for pupils walking to school
I strongly support Clydebank FC's efforts to secure a new stadium and training facilities. A site has been identified at the Montblow recreation ground and the Supporters Trust has begun discussions with interested parties to take the project forward

There have been persistent problems with flooding in Whitecrook. In January 2009 the administration at West Dunbartonshire Council proposed closing the Whitecrook CE Centre, Parkhall Library and Faifley Nursery & making cuts to funding for Women’s Aid in Clydebank.

As Chair of the Clydebank Blitz 60th Anniversary Committee, I worked with local churches & community volunteers the committee organised an art exhibition of blitz images & a performance of ‘The Night of the Big Blitz’, put together by Denis Agnew, which saw a wealth of Scottish talent showcased in Clydebank Town Hall.
